About Tony Garcia

Tony Garcia is an accomplished radio industry professional with extensive expertise in syndicated radio programs, platforms, and services. He owns Global Media Services, founded in 2014, and co-owns Now! Media, launched in 2017. 

During his 40-year career, Tony has established a reputation for having a keen insight in to the unique needs of individual stations by helping them work smarter, sound better, and make more money. He has a recognized track record of success for growing nationally syndicated products from inception to nationwide prominence and has garnered praise from affiliate and content partners alike because of his belief that ongoing communications with advertising partners, producers, and affiliates is vital to the success for all. Over the years, he has syndicated both short- and long-form radio shows in Country, Adult Contemporary, Hot AC, Rock, and News Talk.

Under the Now! Media banner, Tony leads the syndication of Bob & Sheri, America's leading AC morning show heard on more than 70 radio stations nationwide. Under his guidance, the show has grown into a multi-media operation, including streamed content, original podcast content, book publishing, social media, and more. At Global Media Services, Tony produces and syndicates several programs and services, including the popular morning show, 2 Guys Named Chris.

Tony got his start in radio in 1980, while still in college. As the producer and co-creator of Wavebreaker, America's first and only New Wave music countdown show, which aired on more than 80 college stations and a dozen European outlets.

In 1983, Tony began working at leading radio networks, including United Stations Radio Network, where he rose to Director of Affiliate Acquisitions, The Wall Street Journal Report, and the Progressive Radio Network. In 2010, Tony joined RegionalHelpWanted.com as VP/General Manager, working with over 1,000 radio stations, TV stations, and Cable MSOs.

Tony is on the Board of Directors of the Coloradio Broadcasters Association, and he is often sought out for his knowledge of network radio by reporters and for panel participation at industry conferences.
